Quality Engineer

Job details, tasks

The Quality Engineer is responsible to providing guidance for the team to ensure excellent quality level of the products and minimize the risk of quality defects through the life cycle of the product (from NPI till phase out).
Your responsibilities in the role:
Monitor and analyze quality related metrics
Coordinate the responsible team to set up corrective and preventive actions for internal and external failures
Support NPI activities
Create instructions for quality inspectors
Carry out internal process audits to determine weaknesses
Perform trainings in quality related topics to other departments
Control the documentation of the products, processes
Provide support to all departments to minimize risk of quality defects
Issue quality reports according to customer’s requirements

Requirements

University or college degree (preferably quality engineering degree)
Minimum 2-3 years experience in quality engineering
Knowledge of quality techniques (Control Plan, FMEA, 8D, Pareto)
Structured and forward looking thinking
Ability to work in stressful environment, good socialization skills
Good communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent analytical skills
Good command of written and verbal English
People management experience
Quality team management and experience in matrix organization

Experience in Lean and Six Sigma
